Using Social Media for Revenue

Truth for today: It doesn't matter how many social media followers you have.

If you're on social media for your business, and you're not making sales, well, that kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? Have you ever seen someone who had 1000's of views or followers on social media and assumed they must by kicking it in their business?

Guess what? Some of those people have become my clients, and the truth is, those 1000's of followers on social media haven't really helped them make sales.

I'm a branding strategist, and I am fully booked constantly - and when I have openings, I fill them pretty quickly. All of my clients come from referrals, or from social media. But if you go and look at my profile, you're not going to be that impressed.

I mean, yes, I've used my branding there. And yes, I post some videos. But there's probably not anything there that will wow you. But, what I have done is make thousands of dollars from my profile and 30 minutes daily, invested in social media.

If you want social media to work for you, like really work for you (as in bring in REVENUE), not just build 50,000 followers who aren't buying from you - you have to show up and build connections.

I have 350 Facebook followers at the time of this recording, and I'm meeting my revenue goals. Let me take a guess: You're not in business for Facebook followers, you're in business for revenue and sales. So if you can meet your revenue goals with 350 followers who cares how many followers you have, right?
